William Bronk
1918-1999
Winner of the American Book Award in 1982 for Life Supports, his collected early poetry, Bronk is widely celebrated as one of the most accomplished poets of his generation. The recipient of the Lannan Literary Award for poetry in 1991, Bronk lived most of his life in Hudson Falls, New York, in a substantial Victorian home that became a mecca for American poets and artists.
